Third Party Integrations

Integrate EasePop with third party services.

Third Party Integrations

EasePop supports integrations with third-party services to help you stay notified when new form submissions come in. Currently, we support Email and Discord integrations.

Both integrations can be configured directly from the popup editor. Once set up, you'll receive real-time notifications whenever a user submits a form through your popup.

Accessing Integrations

To configure integrations for your popup:

  1. Open the Popup Editor for the popup you want to configure
  2. Navigate to the Elements tab in the sidebar
  3. In the element settings, locate the Form Submission section
  4. Click the Manage button next to the integrations
  5. You'll see available integration options (Email and Discord)

Email Integration

The Email integration sends email notifications to your specified address whenever a new form submission is received.

Setting Up Email Integration

Email Integration Settings

  1. In the Integrations section, click on the Email integration option
  2. Click the Settings icon (⚙️) next to the Email integration
  3. In the settings panel:
    • Email Address: Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications
    • Fields to Include: Select which form fields from the submission should be included in the email notification
  4. Click Save to apply your settings

Once configured, you'll receive an email notification each time a user submits the form, containing the selected submission fields.

Discord Integration

The Discord integration sends notifications to a Discord channel via webhook whenever a new form submission is received.

Setting Up Discord Integration

Step 1: Create a Discord Webhook

Discord Webhook Screen

Before configuring the integration in EasePop, you need to create a webhook in your Discord server:

  1. Open your Discord server and navigate to the channel where you want to receive notifications
  2. Go to Channel Settings → Integrations → Webhooks
  3. Click New Webhook or Create Webhook
  4. Give your webhook a name (e.g., "EasePop Submissions")
  5. Copy the Webhook URL - you'll need this in the next step

For detailed instructions, follow Discord's official webhook tutorial: Intro to Webhooks

Step 2: Configure Discord Integration in EasePop

Discord Integration Settings

  1. In the Integrations section, click on the Discord integration option
  2. Click the Settings icon (⚙️) next to the Discord integration
  3. In the settings panel:
    • Webhook URL: Paste the Discord webhook URL you copied in Step 1
    • Fields to Include: Select which form fields from the submission should be included in the Discord notification
  4. Click Save to apply your settings

Once configured, you'll receive a Discord message in your specified channel each time a user submits the form, containing the selected submission fields.

Managing Integrations

You can enable or disable integrations at any time in the Integrations section. To modify settings, click the Settings icon next to any active integration.

Both integrations can be used simultaneously, so you can receive notifications via both email and Discord if desired.

DOM Events

Use DOM events to respond to user submissions directly in JavaScript.
